Interior and exterior is immaculate, and some cars in this grade have never
been driven.
< Our suggestion >
You will be able to sell this grade as a new car. Most cars are those that
could not be sold in the new car year or cars that have been used for demonstration
or new cars displayed at the dealer shop.

| 5 |
There may be very small scratches or dimples that are very hard to find
and do not need to be repaired before selling the car. No parts have been
replaced on the exterior body. The engine, chassis, interior
and exterior are in excellent condition
< Our suggestions >
This grade of car can be put on display as it is. Some of this grade is
almost same as grade 6. You can completely trust the quality of this grade
in any auctions, and it is not necessary to inspect this grade of cars.
|
| 4.5 |
There are some small scratches or dimples on the body but they are not
necessary to repair before selling the car. It can be sold as a grade 5
after a few minute repairs. The engine, chassis, Interior
and exterior are in very good condition.
< Our suggestions >
This grade is close to grade 5, and the car can be put on display as grade
5 after a few minute repairs. The difference between grade 5 and 4.5 is
sometimes very small. It depends on the auctioneer. You can trust the quality
of this grade in any auctions and it is not necessary to inspect this grade
of car. |
| 4 |
There may be small scratches and dents on the body, but overall the car
is in good condition. It may be necessary to have small repairs done before
selling the car. Any small repairs to the body have been completed with
good results.
< Our Suggestions >
This grade is the best condition grade in high km cars or older cars at
most of the auctions. If you want to have good condition cars with high
kms or old cars, take this grade. You do not need to inspect cars in this grade and you
can trust this grade if the car is exhibited with the auctioneer who has
strict assessments.
|
| 3.5 |
There may be conspicuous marks on the body but big scratches or dents are
mostly repaired. The car however must be in good running condition. The
exterior sometimes has small areas of discoloration due to a poor
repair job. It can be sold as a grade 4 car after some good repairs or
parts replacement.
< Our suggestions >
The most popular grade for exporting. Most people usually request this
grade. Big repairs are not needed and the price of this grade is average.
The car will usually be in good condition but the inspection sheet should
be examined to ensure the condition is as expected at all auctions. |
| 3 |
This will mostly need repairs on the interior or exterior before putting
on display. It sometimes has repairable problems on the car engine or mechanism,
but the car is in proper running order. Some parts may have been repaired
but are sometimes the work is not complete.
< Our suggestions >
You may need to be ready to repair for sale some mechanisms, interior or
exterior after you have received this grade of car. The fact that parts require replacing usually takes this grade down to 3
from 3.5 or 4, and such things are indicated on the inspection sheet. This
grade needs to be carefully inspected to determine the car condition.

| 2 or 1 |
A cheap car whose exterior requires extensive repairs and the interior
is in poor condition. The car will run but may have some corrosions on
the body or chassis. Low value when selling the car. This grade also includes
makeover cars, cars that have many after market parts, raced cars and badly
driven cars.
< Our suggestions >
We suggest you do not purchase cars of this grade unless you are looking
for makeover cars or raced cars. Some cars have bad corrosion with holes
in the chassis and would not pass the car registration process in Japan. |
| R, A or 0 |
This grade is gHeavy repaired history carg and is a car that has been in
a car accident or some situation that has damaged important car frames.
The standard conditions of this grade are also controlled by the JAFTC,
but the car must have been completely repaired. The only problem with this
grade of car is that sometimes there will be driving problems if the car
body or chassis have not been repaired well.
< Our suggestions >
Since the car has been completely repaired some cars are less expensive
than other normal grade cars. But the problem with the above is that it
is hard to inspect the driving condition if the car body/chassis has been
repaired before. We have some ways to find the problems, but you must know
and accept there is a sometime that the car has not been repaired well
and may not be in good driving condition.

| R1 or A1 |
